Flew at air meets and races in England, Scotland and Ireland. When demonstrating flying in Spain caused a riot – crowds shouted “Aviation is impossible. Down with science, Long live religion.” Shed and Farman biplane burnt by the crowd, Flew for “Red Forced” during September manoeuvres.
